Year 8 student Jack Brothers is our Star Student this week. Jack is a multi-talented athlete, excelling in a number of areas. He is Shropshire’s fastest hurdler in his age group and won three events in the recent County Cup Athletics completion – hurdles, high jump and triple jump, contributing an amazing 45 points to our Junior Boys Team’s winning score.
Jack trains three times a week and has represented Shropshire as well as competing for Telford and the School. Jack was also a member of the TTS Junior Boys team which won the West Midlands Consortium competition earlier this term.
Jack’s ambitions are to improve his personal best times for hurdles and to qualify for the English Schools Athletics competition.
