This week’s Star Student is Jack Forrester in Year 9. Jack has been involved in Athletics since Primary school and is currently a member of Telford Athletics Club. This year he has represented Shropshire in Cross Country and Athletics and excels in middle to long distance events particularly 1500m.
This year, Jack has won the annual Bayley Mile for the second year in a row. This race takes place around Wellington Town Centre.
He has a current Personal Best of 4:42 for the 1500m and his ambition is to reduce his Personal Best to below 4:30 by the end of next year and to also gain a hat-trick of Bayley Mile victories.
