Girls – Years 7-11
School Uniform
- Official maroon fitted blazer with embroidered School badge
- Official grey kilt style skirt with tab (Fyfe & Allan Style No 116) (length must be below the knee to a maximum of mid-calf)
or
- Official grey trousers (Trutex Bootcut Harrow)
(No variation of the above skirt or trouser style is acceptable.)
- White blouse
- School tie with school crest
- Plain grey knee high socks or flesh coloured tights; grey ankle socks can be worn during the Summer term
- Black plain shoes of a sensible design with heels no higher than 5 cms. (Heels must not be stiletto or kitten type)
(Boots or shoes with deep tread soles are not allowed)
- Suitable carrying bag (large enough to carry two A4 folders)
Students are not allowed to wear Denim Jackets or Baseball Caps.
PE and Dance Kit

Students following courses in Performing Arts or Performance Studies in the Sixth Form will need appropriate clothing for the practical aspects of the course(s).

Performing Arts Dress Code
Students should note that Thomas Telford School has a formal dress code. Sixth Form students are expected to dress for the office at all times. However, students participating in practical work wear clothing appropriate for the activity being undertaken as identified above in the practical areas.
